Bulky. Heavy. Complex.
At the “Breakbulk” trade fair, everything revolves around the transport of heavy and bulky items. Karl Gross offers tailor-made solutions, which are often transported in specially made wooden crates. The crate was rethought and turned into an eye-catching exhibition stand.
This project is a good example of our approach to designing exhibition stands.
On a very small area and with a relatively low budget, a stand was to be created that would clearly stand out from the other exhibitors.
Actually, it was supposed to be a pitch, but we didn’t want to participate. Our added value in the area of exhibition stand construction lies almost exclusively in creation and consulting. With small stands, it’s usually not worth competing against conventional stand builders.
In the first step, we put our energy into analysis and idea development and first estimate rough costs. Once the idea is in place, we manage the tendering process for the construction services and use the concept as a basis.
At Karl Gross, we started with one day of creation and a few scribbles without any obligation. We liked the ideas and in the further course of the project our project management identified and controlled a reliable and reasonably priced stand builder and ensured that the stand looked as planned.
In the end, the total costs were at the same level as they would have been if the stand had been built as a system.
But the result was much more creative. We think so.
