“Ready for Tomorrow” – we translated the KIA claim into a smart spatial and temporal staging, in which an elaborate media architecture with light and projections made the future success path of the Korean car brand tangible. We implemented the international dealer event as a full-service provider, from conception and media content development to production and smooth participant management.
Every five years, Kia Motors Europe organises its Pan European Dealer Convention for all dealers from the European markets. In 2016, 2,700 dealers met in Hall G of the HUNGEXPO exhibition centre in Budapest. Due to the time gap between the events, Kia Motors Europe had particularly high demands for effectiveness and staging. Our ambitious concept envisaged a multimedia staging of the 9,500 sqm Hall G. It was transformed into a black box to stage Kia’s future path as a multi-screen media sculpture under the motto “Ready for Tomorrow”. The strength of Kia comes from the brand itself. All presentation content was realised through dynamic and large-scale animations. The intensive rehearsals with individual coaching sessions enabled the presenters to play on different surfaces with their content in a surprising and varied way, thus using the entire space for themselves. External speakers and moderators or classic PPTs were deliberately dispensed with. The dynamic staging in its spectacular dimension left the guests with an overwhelming impression and lasting memories.
