An old caravan was turned into a more or less roadworthy promotion tool, with a lot of effect in a small space.
The caravan was conceived and designed by us as part of the “Green White Wonderwall” campaign for the jersey launch and has since been used in a variety of ways. As a backdrop for interviews with the players, as a promotion module at the fans’ day, to accompany the players to the training camp, as a delivery vehicle for the annual charity Christmas campaign…
The “Be a part of it” campaign by Umbro and Werder turned people into main characters who are very important for the club but otherwise tend to stay in the background. The SVW culture lives from loyal fans, companions and the people behind the scenes – from the cleaners to the pub owners.
The mobile, affectionately named “Moped”, embodied fan culture, brand values and the down-to-earth nature of the SVW in equal measure and thus underlined the campaign for the jersey launch in a very authentic way.
We think: You can rent very practical, large and modern vehicles for promotions and roadshows, but for the monthly rent of such a (not very uniquely) vehicle, we can transform four caravans – and stand out much more.
