Sustainability is at the heart of the corporate strategy of Papier – und Kartonfabrik Varel (PKV) and its sister company Jade-Pack – and it should also be at the heart of the family festival, which was intended to promote sustainable employee relations and express appreciation for all those involved in the company’s success. For this purpose, we developed a colourful staff party that brought
We made tangible the company’s goal of establishing ecology and nature as a guiding principle for all levels of action in a practical and entertaining way at the intergenerational family festival. We created the opportunity to experiment, to experience new things, to discover exciting things and to “tinker”, and thus to learn almost incidentally about the real meaning of sustainable action.
The furnishing concept also picked up on the sustainability theme with recycled, upcycled and natural materials – and of course cardboard furniture was not to be missed. The catering with food trucks from regional food providers, palm leaf plates with wooden cutlery and beverage supply via returnable glass bottles also consistently followed the sustainability line.
A stage programme that entertained and at the same time was educational with tube art, basketball and skateboard shows as well as scientific experiments rounded off the overall concept.
And to make sure that the northern German weather didn’t get in the way of the sustainable celebrations, we also provided sufficient roofing for the family party, which we implemented as a full-service provider.
