Strategy meeting, anniversary celebration and team building – three formats in one event. All in one place, which matched the anniversary motto “Moving Mountains” of the heavy goods and special transport expert deugro. The mountain called – the JOKE team delivered.
Every two years, deugro brings together its team from over 40 countries to share and jointly develop strategies, network and motivate employees. In 2024, the event was dedicated to the company’s 100th anniversary and its claim “Moving Mountains”. And we were faced with the task of finding an event location that suited deugro: large yet informal, top performance and yet friendly and authentic. And with a mountain panorama matching the anniversary storytelling.
After intensive research, we chose the well-known Gut Brandlhof in Salzburger Land, a hotel and conference location surrounded by Alpine peaks. In the perfect environment for meetings and incentives, we implemented a multi-day program that included a lot of entertainment and emotional moments in addition to content formats (conference, workshops, keynotes). The team-building activities in particular (soapbox building/racing, Alpine Olympics, racetrack test) and the exuberant evening events, including a birthday dinner party, strengthened the bond with employees from all over the world and created a great sense of community. Our JOKE colleagues ensured the smooth running of the event at the XL Meetcentive. We also supported the deugro in-house professionals with participant management – with our guest handling crew as well as with the software from our digital subsidiary DGS (registration, event app).
