Aerospace plays a special role in Bremen as the most important branch of industry, which is also reflected in our client relationships with a large number of companies from this sector. We work for many renowned companies for whom JOKE has been implementing a wide variety of event formats for 15 years and more, from staff parties and annual kick-off events to contract signings and press conferences. 

And we were therefore very proud to also be commissioned with the press conference for an important cooperation project – an initiative that aims to bring gender equality further into the world. The countdown of the initiative “The Female Astronaut” took place in the form of a press conference where the 6 finalists of the competition were presented to the media. Almost 50 years after the first men landed on the moon, the aim of the initiative “Die Astronautin” was to get the first German woman astronaut ready for her trip into space. 

We provided a full service for the press conference in Bremen with an authentic spaceflight flair – we developed an event programme based on the core message, were responsible for the atmospheric décor and stage, ensuring that the astronaut’s message was digitally extended and widely heard via livestream.
