To express their appreciation towards their professional partners, a company from the energy and communication sector wanted an incentive programme with many positive, lasting memories. We developed a varied event in Sicily with unique experiences on land, water and in the air.
Creating a special experience, at a special location, for special trade partners – that was the briefing for this incentive project. With that, we marched off and came back with a Sicilian concept around the city of Taormina. Due to its picturesque landscape, mild Mediterranean climate and historical sights, the ancient city on the east coast of Sicily is a versatile destination. Very well-known and worth seeing are the ancient theatre with a view of the volcano Etna and the coastal region on the Ionian Sea.
Therefore, one of the highlights of the trip was an excursion to Mount Etna with self-driving buggies, in which the participants experienced craters and volcanic foothills, including hot springs up close. This was followed, after lunch with a full-bodied wine tasting, and a surprise helicopter flight with panoramic impressions from an altitude of 2500m.
To cool down, the next day we went into the wet element: relaxing moments on a catamaran in front of a picturesque island scenery were completed by water sports activities such as parasailing, jet skiing and banana boat.
A traditional market visit and pizza-making class, as well as the final gala dinner in a palace overlooking the picturesque town of Taormina, rounded off the action-packed and culturally rich programme.
