BMW Group
Sustainability & Innovation Days
RE:THINK, RE:USE, RE:CYCLE – Sustainability through Innovation
200 international journalists were given exclusive insights into sustainability strategies and future technologies at the BMW Group’s Research and Innovation Centre (FIZ). The event design reflected the principles of circularity and enabled direct dialogue with BMW’s innovation topics and experts.
The BMW Group pursues a holistic sustainability approach centered on a circular economy, integrating ecological, economic, and social aspects across the entire value chain. Under the guiding theme “Sustainability through Innovation,” BMW structures its forward-looking product and technology topics into four key clusters: Circularity & Materials, Digital Tools & Methods, Efficiency & Drive Systems, and Urban Mobility. These four clusters were brought to life in a curated exhibition space centered around an interactive hub, where journalists were invited to take deep dives into each topic through tailored sessions with BMW experts. Over the course of ten event days, media representatives were guided in small groups through immersive thematic experiences designed to make each aspect tangible and engaging.
A special highlight was the opportunity to test ride the all-electric BMW CE 04 from BMW Motorrad—an active, hands-on experience of sustainability and innovation.
