Task: Concept development and implementation for a teambuilding event with a change of management background. Our approach: instead of the classic format with a boss’s sound system and a moderated workshop in a conference atmosphere, create real experiences and shared memories. Authentic and personal: camping site instead of design hotel, food trucks instead of finger sandwiches, cult testimonial Friedrich Liechtenstein instead of conference moderator.
When two agency networks for digital communication merge and a newly thrown together 1,000-strong young team is supposed to get to know each other at a staff event. If the team is to experience the advantages of the change process, identify with it and live the new structures … Then a conventional event format with frontal speeches, motivating key-notes, state of the art technology and beautiful media in an old industrial location would simply be the wrong approach.
So we looked for a completely positive setting, a place of inspiration, a world of experience that fits the target group like a glove and organised an employee festival without further ado. With everything that goes with it. Without mainstream, extraordinarily wacky, activating, motivating and yet, or precisely because of this, with many unobtrusive, subtle messages. In the back, all the way in.
The project won six national and international awards. In this film you can see very well how justified the shower of awards was.
