For the EWE Arena, we developed a smart room staging solution within the framework of the sales conference of the EWE telecommunications division, so that the multi-surface hall on the one hand remained as an imposing overall area, but on the other hand offered efficient modules for individual event points taking place at the same time.
As a symbol of performance, team spirit and competition, the EWE Arena was the perfect location – after all, as the venue of the professional EWE Baskets Oldenburg, it stands for precisely these values. However, the structure of the hall posed a challenge with regard to the briefing, which included conference events for 80 sales staff at a time with a clear schedule and partially simultaneous programme items.
Therefore, we developed a spatial concept that preserved the overall impression of the sports arena and at the same time contained space for various workshop situations. In addition to communal moments such as welcome speeches and staff awards in the plenum at the front of the hall, there were concurrent programme items at the back of the hall. An audio guide solution enabled a rotation within these programme points, which small groups completed simultaneously.
A coherent workshop staging, which picked up on the contents and presented them characteristically, made it possible for the participants to quickly and authentically identify with the individual topics. A kitchen situation was created for “energy”. The pit stop invited coordinated teamwork and a mountain panorama with exercise balls in EWE yellow represented relaxation and wellness at the workplace.
The sporty sales conference in the EWE Arena was rounded off by the appearance of the EWE Baskets Head Coach, who gave the EWE TEL team insights into team play and success from his practical coaching experience.
