The BYD Sealion 7, the latest generation of electric mobility, was launched in Europe in fall 2024. At the launch event for journalists, influencers and other industry experts in Frankfurt, the focus was on the aerodynamic design and the revolutionary technology (blade battery, modern vehicle architecture). To convey these innovations, we designed a stylish scenography that built up excitement and effectively integrated the tech experience.
The setting was an industrial-style hall, whose almost 3,000 square meters were zoned and color-coded to match Sealion’s ocean theme. A cool illuminated entrance was followed by the multifaceted exhibition area with various technology presentations and the auditorium for product insights with the BYD experts. Afterwards, the participants went for a practical test and suitable media content on photogenic driving routes, including a lunch stop in the countryside.
JOKE succeeded in creating a brand-appropriate staging for the battery pioneer and electromobility champion BYD and a smooth program flow (dinner, product presentation, press conference, test drive) as well as reliable guest handling for 300 participants from 20 countries.
