For the anniversary of an engineering service provider, not only offering great entertainment and a big celebration – but also expressing appreciation and creating identification for 850 employees and partners with a special event. With this goal in mind, a company anniversary was created that created a brand experience and participation through creative space and show staging around the theme of architecture.
In addition to the desire for a lavish celebration, the engineering company Schüßler focused its anniversary communication on strategic goals: Integrating new employees. Shaping transformation together. Appreciation for long-standing colleagues and partners.
Together with a dramaturgy specialist, an event concept was created that combined corporate themes with entertainment. The setting: an exhibition in the middle of the historical industrial architecture of a former steel plant. Here, the company’s history was brought to life in individual stages through exhibits including a sound trail (audio guide) – looking back meets looking forward. The integration of the guests, whose wishes for the future became part of the exhibition, and the subsequent family dinner at XL tables created interactivity and a sense of togetherness.
As a highlight, the exhibition exhibits became the stage for an architectural laser and light show that told the story of milestone projects in the company’s history in a visually captivating way.
The result was an emotional and integrative anniversary event that conveyed the company’s history through spectacular scenography and show, while at the same time providing space for participation and dialog.
